I’m currently in my fourth year studying Geography and Environmental Studies. Combining my love for sustainability, the outdoors, travelling as well as learning led me to my degree here at UVic. I have completed work in environmental monitoring and restoration during my degree and I hope to continue along this path when I graduate. Throughout my studies, I have become more passionate for sustainable living and helping the environment and this knowledge has allowed me to develop my passions into hobbies to help better my future. One of my hobbies that I recently started is bee keeping in the Fraser Valley as well as managing an organic garden where I hope to provide local, fresh produce for my community. Being able to incorporate my studies into my every day life has been the most inspiring part of the journey towards completing my degree.
