IMN PN is committed to supporting Post-Doctoral fellows and New Investigators in engaging Indigenous communities/organizations in developing research grant applications. Seed grants are now available to cover the costs associated with this process.
• Eligibility: Post-Docs/New Investigators that are employed at an eligible institution.
• Use of Funds: Funds can be used to conduct new research, host discussions about emerging issues or new opportunities, launch a new event or develop a new idea, and support access to academic or professional development resources.
• IMN-PN will not provide retroactive reimbursement for expenses incurred prior to the application deadline.
• Post-Doc/New Investigators applying for more than one IMN-PN funding opportunity (Research Expense Stipend, and/ or Conference/ Community Travel Award) must submit separate application packages with proposals that clearly differentiate between the submissions. Identical proposals will not be considered for more than one funding opportunity; furthermore, repeat submissions in subsequent calls for applications will not be reviewed
