Hi! We’re Team Amice (Lauryn, Hannah, Riley).
We joined as a team due to a common interest in Medieval clothing. Accordingly we’ve followed in the vein of Medieval interest and have chosen the team name “Amice”. Simply put Amice means both “friend” in Old French and is also a white cap/vestment used in the clergy (Dictionary.com, n.d.).
Our topic for the virtual exhibition will focus on a linen tapestry that depicts the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
