In 2012 Dr. Fritz Boehm transformed Honours Fest with a generous donation to provide cash prizes to award winners. His gift continues to support UVic’s emerging scientists, helping Canada stay at the forefront of research and development.
My family congratulates all students who have received and will receive our award. Perhaps one day we will read that an Honours Fest award winner is now a Nobel Prize winner… who knows! So go for it: Be inspired! Be inquisitive! Be courageous! Think! Explore! Experiment!
