Every year, awards are given out for the best Honours Fest posters, as judged by faculty and alumni. The top three posters overall are selected, as well as the top poster in each department.
Since 2012, all Honours Fest awards have come with a generous cash prize due to the generosity of Dr. Fritz Boehm. His gift continues to support UVic’s emerging scientists, helping Canada stay at the forefront of research and development.
My family congratulates all students who have received and will receive our award. Perhaps one day we will read that an Honours Fest award winner is now a Nobel Prize winner… who knows! So go for it: Be inspired! Be inquisitive! Be courageous! Think! Explore! Experiment!
