If I’m performing what do I bring?

An instrument (baritone, euphonium, tuba, helicon and sousaphone that can be decorated), a music stand, music (downloaded from https://onlineacademiccommunity.uvic.ca/holidaytubas/sheet-music/) and clothing for cold/wet weather.

The show will be approximately 2 hours with a brief intermission. The rehearsal will be 2 hours and 30 minutes (or less).

Why isn’t it called Tuba Christmas anymore?

There are a few reasons for the change in name, but one of the most important reasons is to be more inclusive. Holiday Tubas will still have a large percentage of the same pieces that will be played, but there will also be holiday and Chanukah pieces included!

How do I get to the rehearsal?

The easiest way to get the rehearsal is to find you way to Parking Lot E on the inside of ring road. Once parked head down the stairs the lead directly from the parking lot. Go straight down the hallway and the rehearsal room (B037) is just ahead to the left. There is a flat fee on Saturdays for parking. So be sure to pay so that you don’t get a ticket.
