Digital copies are accepted.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Government-issued photo ID (e.g. BC driver\u2019s license or a passport)<\/li>\n<li>Notice of Assessment from the previous tax year (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Tuition amounts to carry forward (if applicable) \u2013 can be found on your Notice of Assessment<\/li>\n<li>Social Insurance Number (SIN)<\/li>\n<li>All tax slips, which (may) include:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/tax\/individuals\/topics\/about-your-tax-return\/tax-return\/completing-a-tax-return\/tax-slips\/understand-your-tax-slips\/t2202-tuition-enrolment-certificate.html\">T2202<\/a> \u2013 tuition, education, textbook amounts certificate<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/tax\/individuals\/topics\/about-your-tax-return\/tax-return\/completing-a-tax-return\/tax-slips\/understand-your-tax-slips\/t4-slips\/t4-statement-remuneration-paid.html\">T4<\/a> \u2013 statement of remuneration (employment income)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/forms-publications\/forms\/t4a.html\">T4A<\/a> \u2013 statement of other income (often scholarships and bursaries)<\/li>\n<li>Tax receipts for charitable donations, medical expenses (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>If you paid rent for a property in BC during the year, provide the total amount of rent paid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you have a spouse or common-law partner in Canada, BOTH people need to attend the scheduled meeting<\/li>\n<li>If your spouse or partner lives outside of Canada, you\u2019ll need to know their global income (used to calculate your Canadian benefits and credits, e.g. GST\/HST, Child Tax Benefit)<\/li>\n<li>Newcomer to Canada? You need to know your arrival date, global income that same year, <u>and<\/u> \u201cresidency status\u201d<\/li>\n<li>International Student?
