About The Food Guide
![DSC04898](https://onlineacademiccommunity.uvic.ca/gcfoodguide/wp-content/uploads/sites/7543/2024/04/DSC04898-scaled.jpg)
This guide was initially created by a group of University of Victoria Gustavson School of Business students with the intention of facilitating easy access to culturally authentic groceries and restaurants in Victoria and the surrounding area. The guide was then gifted to the UVic Global Community and the International Centre for Students (ICS), and continues to grow and evolve. Whether you are looking for a delicious meal that tastes like home, or trying out a new recipe with an ingredient you just can’t seem to find, we hope this resource can help you locate all of Victoria’s bests!
In collaboration with students and staff at UVic, the International Centre for Students will update the International Food Guide on an ongoing basis. We encourage you to share your food recommendations so we can continue to grow and refine this incredible resource for the Victoria community.
Thank you to each person who visits this site, makes contributions to this guide, and shares this resource with others.
