About The Food Guide

This guide was initially created by Gustavson School of Business students to facilitate easy access to culturally authentic groceries and restaurants in Victoria and the surrounding area. They gifted the guide to the International Centre for Students (ICS)’s Global Community and it continues to grow and evolve through feedback and input from the Global Community Student Advisory Council and the UVic community. In Fall 2023 a group of Geography 330 students created the interactive google maps for easy access to food resources in Victoria.

In collaboration with students and staff at UVic, the ICS will regularly update the GC Food Guide. We invite you to share your food recommendations so we can continue to grow and refine this valuable resource.
