Yiping has worked on transfer learning in cancer classification at UBC and generative adversarial networks for data augmentation through image synthesis at Imagia. Yiping currently works on multi-agent reinforcement learning paradigms in the GAIDG lab to improve generalization and the learning of complex emergent behaviours for navigating agents. In September 2021, Yiping will <a href=\"https:\/\/cs.uwaterloo.ca\/news\/cheriton-masters-students-awarded-vector-scholarships-in-artificial-intelligence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">begin<\/a> his Master of Mathematics in Computer Science degree in the David R.
