Hello First Year Engineers!
The ESS is looking for YOU to be our next First Year Representative or join our First Year Council!
- Do you want to get involved with the ESS and make a difference in your UVic Engineering community?
- Do you want to meet new people and make connections with other engineering students?
- Do you want leadership experience that will help you in your engineering academics and future co-op positions?
Join the ESS as our First Year Representative!
As first year representative you. would:
- Attend our weekly ESS Council meetings;
- Help run the First Year Council;
- Run events for first year students;
- Advocate for first year students;
- Get involved with a community and make friends!

The deadline for applications is Friday, September 24th at 11:59pm.

Voting will take place online from Tuesday the 28th (12:00am) until Wednesday the 29th at 11:59pm (we will have a new post/email with the candidates).
The candidate with the most votes will be elected as the First Year Representative. Runner ups and all other Engineering students can join the First Year Council to support our new rep and have some fun!
