Are you skilled in programming, design, or debate? Are you interested in traveling and competing against top participants from other provinces? If so, we invite you to participate in this year’s UVEC on Saturday, July 8! You will enjoy complimentary snacks and shirts, and if you emerge victorious, you’ll advance to the Western Engineering Competition (WEC). There, you’ll have the opportunity to win and represent UVic at the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC)*. Participating in UVEC and WEC is typically hassle-free—all you need to do is sign up, show up, and put in some effort!
You can find the schedule for the day here.
Sign up at this link: https://www.linktr.ee/uvec2023. Please note that registration is due two days before, at midnight, July 6, to allow for proper planning.
If any of these categories require pre-competition forms, they will be emailed to those who sign up.
Furthermore, UVEC is actively seeking judges and volunteers! If you are interested in assisting with any of the aforementioned categories, kindly contact essvpexternal@engr.uvic.ca
*Please note that Computer Science students, unfortunately, are not eligible to proceed to WEC or CEC.
