Devan Bouchard –\u00a0<\/strong>CEO<\/p>\n

\"Encepta<\/a>Devan Bouchard leads the strategic direction for Encepta and develops relationships with clients and customers. He is an engineer with training in business practices and a technical background in fiber optics for telecommunications. Devan gained a rich set of experiences in many aspects of business and engineering while working in the manufacturing industry between university degrees.\u00a0 <\/u>In his position at Encepta, Devan\u2019s passion for problem solving and outstanding customer service meshes seamlessly with Encepta\u2019s ability to deliver on technology solutions, resulting in customer traction.<\/p>\n

Devan Bouchard completed a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria studying the use of optical fiber technology to build sensors for industrial and biomedical applications. Prior to returning to university, Devan gained three years of experience as a project engineer at Mustang Survival responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, managing projects over $150K, and developing new product lines that have since lead to multi-million dollar annual contracts.<\/p>\n

Hadi Firouzi –\u00a0<\/strong>CTO<\/p>\n

\"Encepta<\/a>Dr. Hadi Firouzi is the Vice President of Technology and holds a doctorate in computer science with a focus on machine learning, computer vision, and advanced data structures. He directs the software development team to produce products that meet the needs of customers quickly and efficiently. Hadi\u2019s ability to architect lean, functional software tools provides high value to customers and operational efficiency for engineering services.\u00a0His proficiency with GIS, spatial data and mobile development has been integral to software solutions for multifaceted projects such as \u201cDecentralized outside plant infrastructure inspection, mapping, and management for the telecommunication industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hadi holds a PhD from UBC where he focused on intelligent processing and machine vision techniques to identify and track real-world objects in streams of images. Hadi has been involved in different aspects of software development for 10 years. He has gained extensive experience analyzing business requirements, designing system solutions, implementing software applications as well as working with hardware and advanced instruments.<\/p>\n
