Welcome to this site! It provides a summary of my doctoral research, where people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) shared their experiences in using digital technologies. People were asked about how they used social media, mobile phones and the internet to stay socially connected and to support their illness. <\/p>\n
I am so grateful to to the 83 people who participated at various stages of the study was conducted. The study was conducted from December 2018 to July 2020, and at a time when we were just at entering the COVID-19 pandemic. The insights everyone shared became even more significant for learning how to stay socially contacted through digital technologies. <\/p>\n
