Refunds can be requested up to one month before<\/strong> the event (3 May 2024). Refunds will not be issued until after DHSI, which takes place in June. Due to institutional processes, we will need a copy of the receipt for your original registration fees in order to process a refund. Please also note that registration amounts include a non-refundable administration fee ($150 per course for students and $300 per course for non-students, inclusive of all external service fees).<\/p>\n

Please contact us at institut@uvic.ca if you need to cancel your registration or change your registration selections. It is also helpful to let your course instructor know if you are unable to attend anymore.<\/p>\n

Per our policy posted on our Scholarships page<\/a> and noted on the registration forms, i<\/span>n order to be eligible for a DHSI scholarship, you must complete the scholarship application and receive your acceptance before<\/strong> registering for a course. We regret that <\/span>we are unable to offer fee reimbursements<\/span> to participants who register before receiving the results of their scholarship application.<\/span><\/p>\n

DHSI courses do fill, some very quickly. And, for better or worse, it is very rare that spots open up in DHSI courses once they fill, so we do not keep waiting lists. It is sometimes possible to switch into a course that is full on the first day of DHSI. Please be in touch with us at that time if you would like to make a switch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately we are unable to hold spots in DHSI courses unless registration is fully paid.

You will have received an emailed receipt from Eventbrite with your ticket information when you registered that outlines everything you signed up for. The email subject line to look for is: \u201cYour Tickets for Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) 2024\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attending DHSI<\/h2>\n
