Legacy food companies like <a title=\"Company Overview\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/quote\/TSN:US\">Tyson Foods Inc.<\/a>, <a title=\"Company Overview\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/quote\/K:US\">Kellogg Co.<\/a> and <a title=\"Company Overview\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/quote\/NESN:SW\">Nestle SA<\/a> are also competing in the space with their own plant-based burgers and milks. They\u2019re using their scale to drive distribution and working with retailers on promotions and marketing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">Meat and dairy substitutes are marketed as healthier and more sustainable than the products from animals that they aim to replace. They\u2019re getting popular just as consumers become more conscious of the environmental footprint of food, and aim for healthier eating.
