I completed my B.Sc. psychology honours degree at the University of Victoria in 2023 and I am now pursuing graduate studies in clinical psychology at Concordia University in Montréal. During my time in the Cortex lab, I contributed to multiple projects with two primary foci: i) understanding executive function assessment and ii) understanding the effects of psilocybin on cognition. I hope to apply my learning in these areas to improve both assessment and treatment, particularly in mood and anxiety disorders.

I completed my Honours year at Cortex, under the supervision of Dr. Garcia-Barrera and Cole Kennedy. My research focused on examining the so called “athlete cognitive advantage,” specifically gains in executive functioning from practicing soccer at the Varsity level. I am now pursuing a career in Medicine.
