Depth and Magnitude of Human Activity<br>&#8211; Explore the depth and magnitude of climate emergency. This topic will introduce learners to the current situation of the planet and where we are at.<\/td><td><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineacademiccommunity.uvic.ca\/climateproject\/limits-of-our-planet\/\">Limits of our Planet<\/a><\/strong><\/td><td><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rwlnetwork.org\/media\/67108\/planetary_boundarys_11.13.pdf\">Planetary Boundaries<\/a><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>2. Terms associated with interconnectedness of climate and social justice<br>&#8211; Learners explore the terms such as intersectionality, climate apartheid, environmental colonialism and others by using case study and examples.<\/td><td><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineacademiccommunity.uvic.ca\/climateproject\/language-matters\/\">Language Matters<\/a><\/strong><\/td><td>Case Studies (Links included in the <strong>Language Matters<\/strong> activity document)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>3. Unequal limitations<br>&#8211; Learners start to reflect on how the limitation of the planet impacts different demographic.<\/td><td><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineacademiccommunity.uvic.ca\/climateproject\/unequal-limitations-neighborhood-research-activity\/\">Neighborhood Research Activity<\/a><\/strong><\/td><td><a href=\"https:\/\/www-tandfonline-com.ezproxy.library.uvic.ca\/doi\/pdf\/10.1080\/13562517.2023.2193667?needAccess=true\">Beyond colonial futurities in climate education<\/a> &nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>4.
