Systems Thinking and Climate Change Education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Climate challenges don\u2019t come in a linear fashion, so we cannot think of climate change as a siloed process, nor can we only study it in the science fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity is a continuation of the previous neighborhood research activity where you explored a neighbourhood in your city and started to speculate on a likely climate change issue in that neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of the previous activity, you had started to document your research and figured out a way to share your findings. Based on that research, you will now prepare a civic engagement campaign to take meaningful action to help combat the climate change issue most prominent in the neighbourhood. By identifying and addressing specific ways you can make an impact in your community, you\u2019ll be better prepared to address climate change issues in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your civic action campaign can be from one of the following (table below) or something that is entirely different. The table below outlines some possible ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
