The purpose of this activity is to understand the impact of human activity on the 9 planetary boundaries and where we stand on them currently.
Learners will be given information about the planetary boundaries – https://www.rwlnetwork.org/media/67108/planetary_boundarys_11.13.pdf
Learners will then be divided into 9 groups – one for each planetary boundary.
Biogeochemical Loading of Nitrogen and Phosphorous
Each group will engage with the mind map on the individual planetary boundaries and present their findings to their peers. Each presentation shares the limitations of our planet pertaining to specific resources.
