Jo Länger is a PhD-candidate in Adam Monahan’s research group. Her focus is on biogeochemical modelling of the Canadian Arctic Ocean and the assessment of an oceanic carbon budget. The focus of the PhD project is both, on hind-casts and future projections and uses the Canadian Ocean Ecosystem Model (CanOE), including the Canadian Sea Ice Biogeochemistry module (CSIB). For her MSc-degree at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, she focused on lower atmospheric boundary layer turbulence, ecological modelling and climate change impact research.
