I’m a master’s student in Neuroscience at the University of Victoria, conducting pre-clinical research on traumatic brain injury (TBI) and cerebral microbleeds. My work focuses on blood-brain barrier function, inflammation, and how these processes interact following TBI. I’m also exploring how cannabis exposure may exacerbate the effects of microbleeds.
Beyond my thesis work, I’m interested in neuropharmacology in the context of psychiatric disorder treatment, the neural basis of addiction, and science communication and drug policy.
