Neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus have always been my passion. The projects that I currently work on focus specifically on immunofluorescence and imaging techniques to elucidate on inhibitory mechanisms of interneurons in the hippocampus in an animal model for prenatal alcohol and cannabis exposure.

A fun fact about me: I have visited 28 American states.

My hobbies include: Exercise, drawing, and training my cats.
