Pathy Foundation Fellowship applications open! Deadline to apply is Dec 15, 2024.
The Pathy Foundation Fellowship is a self-directed opportunity for young leaders to test and develop their skills in their respective fields while benefiting from a rich support network of driven peers, skilled facilitators, and experienced practitioners. Fellows can propose an initiative in any field, sector, and community, providing them with the opportunity to gain a competitive advantage for their future careers. Each year, up to 12 selected Fellows receive state-of-the-art training, extensive support, and up to $50,000 in funding to support their growth as leaders, make a meaningful impact in a community they care about, and acquire skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. Applications for the 2025-2026 Cohort of the Pathy Foundation Fellowship are open to University of Victoria students until December 15th, 2024. Chem EDI and Orange Shirt Day
In recognition of Orange Shirt Day and National Truth and Reconciliation Day and Week, next week UVic will be hosting public events to honour and support the children and survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. Chem EDI will be distributing orange t-shirts on a first-come first-served basis on Friday September 27th between 12.30 and 1.30pm on the second floor of Elliott to raise awareness of Orange Shirt Day and National Truth and Reconciliation Day. There will also be coffee and cookies provided by the Department. Drop by to visit us!
