CAS SciFinder-n was developed to help scientists get to the most relevant information faster. In this session led by CAS trainer, Scott Hertzog, you’ll learn about some of the many features unique to CAS SciFinder-n and become familiar with the functionality and content of this advanced scientific research solution.

- Concept filtering in literature searches
- Simultaneous keyword and chemical structure searching
- Saving, downloading, and sharing searches
- Alerts – literature references, chemical compounds and more
- PatentPak (chemical patent viewer)

Note: Individual Registration is required for the web version of SciFinder. SciFinder’s web-based user registration form allows you to create your own SciFinder username and password. The registration process requires you use an email address ending in @uvic.ca After the form is complete, CAS sends an e-mail with the instructions for completing the registration process.
