Anytime you can use the words<strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\"> &#8216;<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">peculiar, genius and language&#8217;<\/span> <\/strong>in a single phrase or sentence, you grab my immediate attention! &#x1f44d;<\/p>\n<p>All of us use idioms each and every day, without even thinking about them! There are so many examples, and I bet you will have used at least ONE of the &#8216;<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/englishlive.ef.com\/blog\/language-lab\/15-common-english-idioms-and-phrases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">15 Most Common English Idioms and Phrases<\/a><\/strong><\/span>&#8221; listed below, maybe even before your first cup of coffee this morning!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> \u2018The best of both worlds\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Speak of the devil\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018See eye to eye\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Once in a blue moon\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018When pigs fly\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018To cost an arm and a leg\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018A piece of cake\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Let the cat out of the bag\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018To feel under the weather\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018To kill two birds with one stone\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018To cut corners\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018To add insult to injury\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018You can\u2019t judge a book by its cover\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Break a leg\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018To hit the nail on the head\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018A blessing in disguise\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Call it a day\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Let someone of the hook\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018No pain no gain\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Bite the bullet\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Getting a taste of your own medicine\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018Giving someone the cold shoulder\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018The last straw\u2019 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> \u2018The elephant in the room\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b> \u2018Stealing someone&#8217;s thunder\u2019<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Oh, and yes, this is a site listed at ZOHO!
