00. Preface

Bitcoin is for everyone who has access to the internet. It does not matter who you are, what you do, and where you live. It is available to anyone who wants to use it. While considering this technology young and still in its growing stage, I believe Bitcoin is unstoppable and equipped with the ability to promote significant “social change” which is defined as “the transformation of culture, behavior, social institutions, and social structure over time.” (The University of Minnesota Libraries). Bitcoin may affect all aspects of social change soon.

Once realizing what are the underlying issues in the foundation of our lives today, you may find Bitcoin as “a tool for peaceful revolution” in this violent and confusing world. Bitcoin may help us create a more decentralized, automated, and calm place in the next few decades, because it separates money from politics. It could be a tool to liberate people from oppression, exploitation, and colonialism as well. You cannot ignore the power of network effect and amazing incentive design that Bitcoin leverages to spread itself to the world.

On this site, I attempt to include a wide range of perspectives and information on Bitcoin. Some videos, podcasts and articles introduced here do not resonate with me, but still I think it’s important to be open-minded, listen to different views, and learn from them. I am hoping this website provides good resources for anyone interested in Bitcoin.

Lastly, I want to say huge thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto for inventing Bitcoin for all of us to build a better world where we can be hopeful and free. Thanks to all fantastic Bitcoiners who have inspired and guided me to understand this incredible technology!

Note: During your journey to learn Bitcoin, you may encounter lots of misinformation, fud, scammers, impersonators, and malicious online bots. To prevent you from following fake Bitcoin influencers, I have linked many people’s names to their Twitter accounts. Please be vigilant while you go down the Bitcoin rabbit hole. Always, “Don’t Trust, Verify.”
