About the IPN

The Integrated Program in Neuroscience (IPN) at McGill University is an inter-disciplinary, inter-departmental graduate program. With more than 300 graduate students and over 240 IPN professors, the IPN is Canada’s largest graduate neuroscience program. The IPN spans the full spectrum of neuroscientific fields of research, from cellular and molecular neuroscience to behavioral and cognitive neuroscience.

The IPN offers programs of study which lead to either the M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees. We also have a Rotation Program for first year Ph.D. students. The objective of the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs is to provide in-depth research experience in a specific area of neuroscience in order to develop individuals capable of independent research and scholarly activity in industry, government or academia. The IPN guarantees our students funding, and we offer generous recruitment awards.

Please contact me if you have any questions or require any additional information.

Kindest regards,

Alexander DeGuise
