UBC Molecular Biology Workshop (see http://www.bioteach.ubc.ca/portfolio/professional-courses/  – June 8th to 12th, 2026.  This is an intensive 5 day course that covers molecular biology techniques from both a theoretical and practical point of view suitable for the professional scientist/grad student/post-doc.  

Dear Biology Students,

Do you plan to undertake an Honours research project in 2026/27? If so, the deadline for Honours applications is May 1.

Late applications will be considered, but chances of course conflicts are greater.

Over two months, undergraduate and graduate student participants will pursue an independent research project, either solo or in teams of up to 5. All registrants will receive access to mentors, live workshops, opportunity for open-access publication via Underline.io, and entrance to one of three regional conferences (in either Calgary, Toronto, or Quebec City).
