Rhodes Scholarship applications open June 1
Rhodes Scholarships support students to complete a graduate program (or second undergraduate program) at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Funding includes course fees, an annual stipend, a settling in allowance, and two economy class flights for the beginning and end of studies in Oxford. A variety of programs are supported (e.g., 1- or 2-year master’s, second undergraduate, or 3-year doctoral program). Rhodes Scholarships are open to domestic and international students with a minimum GPA of 8.0 who meet the eligibility criteria set out by the Rhodes Trust.
Important note: Rhodes scholarships have different eligibility criteria, application instructions, and deadlines for each constituency. Applicants to the Canada, United States, and Global constituencies must provide a copy of their complete application to the Faculty of Graduate Studies by the UVic internal deadline in order to be considered for an endorsement (nomination) from UVic.
