Calling all young environmental leaders – GreenPAC Parliamentary Internship for the Environment

Are you passionate about the environment and interested in politics? We have an exciting opportunity that you won’t want to miss!

GreenPAC, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to building environmental leadership in Canadian politics, is inviting applications for the next GreenPAC Parliamentary Internship for the Environment. This unique and paid program sends talented young environmental leaders aged 18-30, to Ottawa to work full-time for ten months in the office of a Member of Parliament. You’ll gain a behind-the-scenes look at the policymaking process and learn from some of Canada’s top environmental changemakers. Our interns work with MPs from every major national party with a proven environmental commitment record.

But that’s not all – our internship program also offers a range of other opportunities. You’ll meet with expert guest speakers, attend workshops and conferences, and engage in interjurisdictional and constituency travel. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including farmers, activists, environmentalists, and political science students. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience to anyone with interest in the intersection of politics and the environment.
