Award-winning Coextinction film coming to Victoria – September 21, 7PM 🐳

Join us for a special movie night in Victoria! The documentary Coextinction won several awards following its premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2021, including the Rob Stewart Eco Warrior Award and People’s Choice Award at Planet Focus. It was also nominated in the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards for Best Cinematography in a Feature Length Documentary.

We are so pleased to host its inaugural screening in Victoria on Sept. 21 at the Vic Theatre.

Follow the stunning journey of the last 74 Southern Resident killer whales and learn how the health of this iconic species is inextricably linked to the health of our coast. This film makes a clear case for a coordinated approach to ecosystem-based coastal management.
