Talk About Tolerances

An ongoing goal of our club, and across all engineering disciplines, is decreasing our tolerances. Our next big step to increase manufacturing accuracy is working with machined miters.

We’re developing a custom CNC miter machine to solve this problem. Using a series of rollers, stepper motors, and cutting wheels, our machine will rotate around the frame tubes on a set G-Code path to cut our steel and alloy tubes.
