At BDAM, we’re always eager and fortunate to learn about the cycling industry with our mentors. Our club offers opportunities to explore the world of bike manufacturing. So far we’ve toured bike factories, held seminars with industry experts, and tinkered around with hands on experiments. We are incredibly fortunate for all of the opportunities we’ve been invited too, and hope for many more in the future.

WZRD Bikes is a local Vancouver Island bike manufacturer. They showed us the foundations of bike building, brazing, temperature control, and mentored us throughout building our first bike.

At the University of Victoria, we are spoiled with recourses to expand our Mechanical Engineering knowledge, and would like to say a special thanks to our facility support Dr. Bosco Yu, and the machine shop for guiding and helping us make our bike dreams a reality!

We’ve got lots of exciting opportunities in the works so stay turned! All events and fieldtrips are posted in our Discord.
