,

My travels have taken me to a variety of places, but I now call Edmonton, AB home with my wonderful family: wife Joanne, son James, and daughter Maeve. My journey to Edmonton started in my hometown of Abbotsford, BC, where I landed my first job after graduating from UVic. I spent two years teaching in Abby (Yale and Abbotsford Senior Secondary) until 2003 when I had the opportunity to travel to Australia and watch my brother play for Canada in the World Cup of Rugby. After the World Cup I returned to Australia and landed a job working at a private school on the Gold Coast (The Southport School). For the next two years I worked and lived at the school while also playing rugby for one of the local clubs. Once back in Canada, I was fortunate to find friends and opportunities in Kelowna where I taught at Okanagan Mission Secondary until moving to Edmonton in 2007. Currently I’m teaching Junior High Physical Education, Mathematics, and Technology at Dan Knott School and coach both the indoor and outdoor soccer teams.
