My teaching career is going super awesome! I finished my practicum in April 2000 and started teaching in Chilliwack on May 1st. I taught there for 3 years before moving to Kelowna where I TOC’d for 2 years before landing at Springvale Middle School. I have been there ever since. I am currently teaching PE 8, Math 8, and Science 8. I am the co-curricular leader for mathematics and have finished my Masters degree in numeracy from SFU. I coached volleyball for many years – some highlights include 5 years coaching Team BC, 2 years Canada Games, Gold Western Canadian U16, Gold BCs U16, BC President Award. I am currently not coaching while I raise my two kids. This picture is of me holding the National B Slow Pitch Women’s Plaque. We won it in Kelowna –awesome experience!!
