After graduating from UVic in the spring of 2001, I began my teaching career in the Abbotsford school district. After one year in Abbotsford, Sandy and I decided that we would like to take our lives up to Kelowna. After a little stint on the TOC list and short contract at Rutland Senior Secondary, I was able to secure full time employment at Rutland Middle school. I have taught a variety of subjects at RMS but have seen the majority of my workload as a PE teacher. I have also been the PE department head at RMS for the last 7 years. My extra time is either spent coaching at the school (Rugby and Badminton) or spending time with my family.
