I have been working at Hamilton District Christian High in Hamilton, ON for the past 13 years serving as a teacher, vice-principal, and as a Director of Community, supporting student’s needs through restorative practices. I have served as a track and field coach for all thirteen years and I have coached grade 9 girls’ soccer for the past two years. In the Spring of 2009 I completed my Master’s of Education in Organizational Studies and Administration at Brock University. This year I am teaching part-time and undertaking Doctoral Studies in Educational Leadership at Brock University with a focus on restorative practices, leadership, and school culture. My passion is advocating for the needs and best interests of high school students, enabling them to flourish as learners and as individuals through a positive school culture.
