Jamie Kirk

After graduating from U Vic I started working for an organization called Young Life. It is a christian youth organization that focuses around mentoring middle and high school students. I am currently the Area Director for the Saanich Peninsula and absolutely love my job. I did my practicum at Parkland high school and am still currently doing Young Life there. I coach the junior boys soccer and the junior  boys basketball teams as well as joining the outdoor education classes on many of their hiking trips as a chaperone. In my spare time I still love to play any team sports. I play tons of road hockey with friends and also play in a slow-pitch league. Ya I’ve really kept the dream alive of one day making it big in the slow-pitch world.
