I have been working in the Cowichan Valley School District since 2005 as a TOC and on several short term contracts at local high schools. Most of my teaching has been in English, Social Studies and Planning, with some PE contracts as well! I have coached junior & senior volleyball and soccer and branched out into track & field and golf!
In 2009 I married another U Vic PE grad, Joeleen Guldemond, and the following spring we welcomed our daughter Sierra. I have TOCed with my brother Adrian a number of times and the students always seem to get a kick out of seeing us together, dubbing us A-church and B-church to avoid confusion during the school day!
