,

I was extremely fortunate to get a TOC position with the Greater Victoria School district following my graduation in 2014. I have had a truly spectacular year working and coaching at some amazing schools in the district. Every day I wake up and I’m excited to go to “work” which is a feeling I hope to inspire in my students and others!  I will probably be TOC’ing for at least another year before taking a contract position as I enjoy the flexibility it allows me to have while I begin my teaching career. I have begun the process for implementing a new outdoor education program at Lambrick Park Secondary school which I hope to be teaching in 2016. Socials 11 and 9 have been my focus, but I hope to move onto Physics soon. So far the support from staff and administration has been extremely positive and the student response has been overwhelming. Every class from the Grade 1’s to the Grade 12’s that I’ve had the opportunity to teach has been a unique and welcomed experience, can’t wait to experience even more next year!
