After completing my internship at Stelly’s in 1989, I was hired on to teach PE, Socials, Math & Guidance! I taught and coached at Stelly’s in Central Saanich until 2003. In 2003, we adopted our first child, Charlotte, and Oliver in 2005. For several years I stayed home with the children, returning to Stelly’s in 2010. In 2011, I left Stelly’s to take on the role of Career Coordinator at the Individual Learning Centre in SD 63. In February 2014, I moved to Parkland Secondary to be the Career Teacher, my current position.
