I am teaching grade 2 in an English Immersion program at Hollihaka Elementary School in Kokkola, Finland. Even though I specialized in PE and History at UVic, I am enjoying being a classroom teacher and the challenges and rewards that come from teaching the younger kids! I teach 7 hours of PE a week, 4 hours of English to grade 5 and 6 students (English is their 3rd language) and the remaining hours are dedicated to my grade 2 class.
