The Academic Women’s Caucus Chair serves as a resource person for AWC members.  Upon request, she may direct them to appropriate offices and resources on campus to answer questions and assist with issues.   When an AWC member wishes anonymously to get general clarifications about University policies and procedures, the AWC Chair may make general inquiries on her behalf.

The AWC Chair does not act as an individual advocate or advisor in place of Union representation.  Upon request, the AWC Chair may accompany AWC members to meetings as an additional support person, but she does not play the role of the union member services officer in addressing situations specific to an individual.
