Before starting her new position as the Science and Research Data Literacy Librarian at UVic Libraries, Monique Grenier had the privilege of volunteering at the Oaxaca Lending Library in Oaxaca City, Mexico.
As a passionate traveller and champion on the importance of libraries, Monique volunteers at different libraries and literacy organizations around the world to take in different cultural perspectives and lend her librarian services however they are needed.
Monique is a member of the International Federation of Libraries and Associations (IFLA) whose vision “is a strong and united library field powering literate, informed and participative societies.”
