The Electronic Textual Cultures Lab and the University of Victoria Libraries welcome you to join us for a community-based Wikipedia edit-a-thon at Point Ellice House, led by Matt Huculak (UVic Libraries). In this session, you will learn:
- What Wikipedia is and how it contributes to the common good
- How to create a Wikipedia username and profile
- How to edit a Wikipedia entry
- How to add sources to Wikipedia entries
- How to verify information in Wikipedia entries
