The Electronic Textual Cultures Lab and the University of Victoria Libraries welcome you to join us for a community-based Wikipedia edit-a-thon at Point Ellice House, led by Matt Huculak (UVic Libraries). In this session, you will learn:

  1. What Wikipedia is and how it contributes to the common good
  2. How to create a Wikipedia username and profile
  3. How to edit a Wikipedia entry
  4. How to add sources to Wikipedia entries
  5. How to verify information in Wikipedia entries

When: Tuesday March 31st, 2pm-5pm
