An interdisciplinary research project on campus seeks a graduate research assistant with qualifications in computer-assisted textual analysis and an understanding of its potential across a number of types of textual materials, specifically academic. For this project, the texts will predominantly be academic papers, and the focus of this work will be on the application of analysis techniques that mimic close reading, to the end of providing more ready navigation of this information by policy makers.  This position will be based in the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab; the ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work both independently and with a consultative research team.

The salary for this position will conform with the standard Graduate Research Assistant rates, and the term will be between 4 and 6 months.
