The guidebook and poster were co-designed and produced by local community members living with dementia in partnership with the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation, Emily Carr University&#8217;s Health Design Lab, and the University of Victoria&#8217;s Dementia Action Co-Lab. It showcases real-life situations that can invite stigma and leave people feeling isolated, and they model how to engage with compassion and curiosity, building trust and a collective sense of safety for all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research was conducted in advance to determine what kind of resource would be most beneficial, and the result is beautiful, strategic, comprehensive, and smart.
