- Discussion re: retreat – possibly in March, trying to secure 1 full day, possibly ½. Strategy for Exec focus on for 2021
- Bargaining prep discussion
- Opportunities for Chapter bargaining research and prep in 2021
- Comparators to other post-secondary – ratios in particular – i.e. nurses, counselors
- Employer has indicated interest in JE/MA sub-committee
- ME exclusions – general discussion re: high proportion – about 20% excluded to included for PEA unit
- Term appointment employee issues – particularly in ONC; language improvements for this group
- Convention – resolutions deadline coming up, discussion re: filling out delegate entitlement
- By-election for vacant Chapter Executive position – in progress
- Chapter provided cheques to members on temporary layoff or reduced FTE/Federal Workshare; members appreciative of the Chapter’s support
- General discussion re: Chapter newsletter content, member profile
- Update re: Campus Solidarity meeting, and Education for All campaign; unions looking to align messaging re: advocating for post-secondary, bargaining goals

- 631 Association/University Committee (Karras/Ficke): Meeting held last week; discussed covid / face to face instruction planning, market adjustments, JJEP

- 633 Job Evaluation Appeals Committee (Chan/Granot): No update
- 634 Campus Planning Committee (Haman): Met Jan 2021, reviewed plans for Fraser Building
- 635 Central ProD (Karras): Closed Jan. 30/21
- 636 Safety Committee (Haman/Bowles): Met two weeks ago, awaiting updates re: covid and mental health. Updating exposure control plans.
