51. welcome to new members Kevin Burns & Rebecca Michaels and re-elected member Sheryl Karras.
52. Election of officers: MOVED to appoint Vincent Connor as Treasurer Karras/Michaels CARRIED.
53. AGM debrief: 50 members attended. The next AGM will be on Nov. 13th 2008. MOVED to appoint John Foxgord Secretary Connor/Karras CARRIED.
54. Chapter meetings will continue to be on the 2nd Friday of each month. Sheryl will book rooms.
55. Members have asked about time between Christmas and New Year. A note in the Pro will link Article 11.05 with the LOU on page 44 of the Agreement.

61 Treasurer – Vincent: Coast Capital Account balance is $4680.15 and EASY balance is $2573.00 MOVED to donate $750 to the Canadian Association of Food Banks Gore/Connor CARRIED.
62 Labour Relations Officer – Tony: a number of matters are being handled on behalf of members.

631 Local Representatives – Tom: A Local Rep lunch meeting is set for Dec. 5th.

633 Appointments – John & Vincent: MOVED to appoint Jacquie Hovgaard to the Employment Equity Advisory Working Group Connor/Karras CARRIED MOVED to appoint Rebecca Michaels to the Campus Planning Committee. Connor/Klatt CARRIED. MOVED to appoint Rebecca Michaels to the Mental Health Committee. Connor/Klatt. CARRIED The committee was charged with finding a member to sit on a committee concerning recruitment & retention of aboriginal and metis employees

641 Association/University Committee Sheryl & Tony: The University has proposed a LOU on impacts of the elimination of mandatory retirement, particularly concerning LTD. This was taken under advisement.
